CTUIR GIS Program Staff


Stacy Schumacher – Program Manager
Stacy has a background in range science. She has particular strengths in ecological and environmental issues, working specifically with invasive plant species. Her expertise with spatial statistics is a great asset to the CTUIR GIS program.

Willie Wood - GIS Analyst / Cartographer
Willie is the institutional memory of the CTUIR GIS program. He has a broad range of expertise including computer aided drafting (CAD), remote sensing, cadastral mapping, and cartography. Willie works with Lidar and elevation data as well as 3D modeling. He has a broad knowledge of computer hardware and software.

Matt Gerbrandt - Senior Database Administrator / Web Programmer
Matt is a recovering wildlife biologist. His job responsibilities include application development, server administration and database design. His projects have a focus on geospatial technology and web based decision support tools using .NET, Flex, JavaScript, MS-SQL Server, ArcGIS Server and XML. He is always interested in new ways of applying technology to solve real world problems and streamline business needs.

Nicole Novak – GIS Analyst
Nicole has specific expertise in cartographic design. With experience working for the Tribes and a strong background in cartography, she has the training and experience to develop custom maps for all Tribal programs.

Scott O’Daniel – Research Geographer
Scott has over 15 years experience working for the Tribes, specializing in groundwater/surface water interactions. Combining geostatistical computations with field derived information providing insights into the interactions of physical process and biological populations on the Umatilla River.
