Wanaket Wildlife Area WANAKET (Water in Trees) is managed by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) to provide wildlife habitat protection, enhancement, and mitigation. The Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) , working with the Northwest Power Planning Council, purchased the property in 1992 as partial mitigation for the impacts associated with the construction of McNary Dam and the inundation of wildlife habitats by Lake Wallula.

Umatilla Indian Reservation This basic map displays the current reservation boundary as well as the surveyed treaty boundary. (8.5 x 11).
Tribal Lands Map Various historical boundaries are displayed and described in this map. These boundaries include the Treaty and Surveyed Treaty Boundaries, the Diminished Reservation, and lands ceded to the U.S. (11x17).

Find information and pictures about buildings on the Reservation Hunting Map Book A book of detailed maps, in a grid divided into ¼ townships, within the Surveyed Treaty Reservation Boundary intended to designate areas where hunting is allowed and not allowed by both Tribal members and Non-Tribal hunters as determined by the CTUIR Wildlife Program in accordance with the Non-Indian Hunting Synopsis found in the DNR webpage which can be found in the CTUIR tribal website. The purpose of this document is for users to either print just the pages they need or if they want print the whole document (on both sides of letter size paper) which can then be stapled together. The document is 71 pages and is approximately 800 MB and may take a long time to download.
